'NO INFO TO SHARE' ON ALLEGED NCAA VIOLATIONS BY OHIO STATE

(Updated 1:59 a.m.) COLUMBUS — There have been rumors running rampant in the past 24 hours about possible NCAA violations by some members of the Ohio State football team.

After numerous attempts to contact the OSU sports information office, Associate Athletics Director for Communications, Dan Wallenberg, contacted The Buckeye Times via text message on Wednesday night to state that there is "no information to share" at this time regarding the rumors.

The circulating rumors accuse some of the players on the Ohio State football team of accepting improper benefits, including free tattoos from an area artist in turn for autographed items.

Of course, one of the players allegedly accused is star quarterback Terrelle Pryor. However, Pryor — who goes by the handle "TPeezy2" on Twitter stated "I paid for my tattoos. Go Bucks."

We will continue to monitor the situation and offer any updates whenever there is "valid" news — not speculation — to report.
