OHIO STATE CENTER MIKE BREWSTER IS A RIMINGTON TROPHY FINALIST

NEW YORK — Ohio State junior center Mike Brewster has been named a finalist for the Rimington Trophy, presented to the most outstanding center in college football.

Brewster is one of six players up for the award which will be announced during the ESPNU/Home Depot College Football Awards Show broadcast live from Orlando, Florida on ESPN on Thursday (Dec. 9).

The winner of the Rimington Trophy is selected by determining the consensus All-American center pick from four existing All-America teams: American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), Walter Camp Foundation, Sporting News and Football Writers Association of America (FWAA).

The other candidates include: Colin Baxter (Arizona), Chase Beeler (Stanford), Jake Kirkpatrick (Texas Christian), David Molk (Michigan), Ryan Pugh (Auburn).
