NINE FORMER BUCKEYES TO COMPETE AT 2011 NFL SCOUTING COMBINE

INDIANAPOLIS — Nine former Ohio State football players will take part in the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, which gets underway on Saturday and runs thru Tuesday.

Each athlete will be examined by every NFL team at the event. The players will compete within their position groups in events such as the bench press, 40-yard dash, skill drills, vertical leap, broad jump, three-cone drill and shuttle drill.

Former Ohio State players who will attend the combine are (day of participation): offensive lineman Justin Boren (Saturday), running back Brandon Saine (Sunday), wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher (Sunday), defensive lineman Cameron Heyward (Monday), linebackers Ross Homan (Monday) and Brian Rolle (Monday), defensive backs Chimdi Chekwa (Tuesday), Jermale Hines (Tuesday) and Devon Torrence (Tuesday).

The Scouting Combine will be broadcast on the NFL Network.
