COLUMBUS — Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday morning.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound native of Huber Heights (OH) led the Buckeyes to a fourth quarter comeback victory Saturday night, upsetting visiting Wisconsin by throwing a 40-yard touchdown pass to freshman receiver Devin Smith with 20 seconds left to give Ohio State a 33-29 win.

Miller finished the game with 188 total yards, including a career-high 99 on the ground with two touchdowns. He was 7-of-12 passing for 89 yards and a score.

It's Miller's first Big Ten honor of his career.

The Buckeyes are now 5-3 overall — 3-2 with Miller as the starter — and will play Indiana this Saturday in Columbus.
