BUCKEYES RB JORDAN HALL OUT FOR 10 WEEKS WITH FOOT INJURY

COLUMBUS — Ohio State starting tailback Jordan Hall suffered a cut on the bottom of his right foot late last week, which according to the university, will sideline the senior for about 10 weeks.

Hall, who is listed as a starter on the Buckeyes' initial depth chart released in late spring, had surgery on his foot on Friday in Columbus.

ALL-TIME BUCKEYES: HEAD COACH

Woody Hayes
For the final installment of my All-Time Ohio State football team, I will provide perhaps the most important aspect of the squad — head coach.

Sure, at first glance it seems like a no-brainer being that Ohio State is home to one of the greatest coaching legends in college football history, Wayne Woodrow Hayes. Also known to the masses as simply, "Woody!"

ALL-TIME BUCKEYES: QUARTERBACK

Terrelle Pryor (The Buckeye Times/Darla Dunkle-Hudnell)
On Thursday I listed the starting linebackers on my All-Time Ohio State football team, stating that it was the most difficult position to construct.

Today's selection, however, wasn't too hard for me to choose but I think it may be the most controversial, argued about position on the team — quarterback.

ALL-TIME BUCKEYES: LINEBACKER

Chris Spielman
Today's installment of my All-Time Ohio State Football Team was the most difficult to construct.

The linebacker position at Ohio State is — in my opinion — the deepest of all, and no matter how I try to cut it down to my starting three, I am still going to be leaving off some multiple-time All-Americans and All-Big Ten talents in the process.

Make no mistake about it, Ohio State is the real "Linebacker U!"

ALL-TIME OHIO STATE FOOTBALL TEAM: TIGHT END, OFFENSIVE LINE

Ohio State has had its fair share of great college football players over the years.

Seven Heisman Trophy winners, more than 180 All-Americans and hundreds of All-Big Ten selections, as well as a strong contingent of first round NFL draft picks.

There's certainly no shortage of Scarlet and Gray legends to choose from, that's for sure. But is it possible to label the best of the best? You know, an All-Time, All-Buckeye squad?

Over the next several days, I am going to compile my all-time team — position-by-position, including head coach. I will identify my starters, give a brief summary and the reason why they are a part of my team.

Today I will begin by naming my starting offensive line and tight end.

So without further ado, I give you my All-Buckeye team ...

URBAN MEYER SUSPENDS STONEBURNER, MEWHORT

Jake Stoneburner
TBT/Darla Dunkle-Hudnell
Below is a statement released to The Buckeye Times by Ohio State head football coach Urban Meyer about two of the team's football players, Jake Stoneburner and Jack Mewhort, who were arrested last month in Dublin ...

"We are disappointed with the decisions made recently by two of our football players. Jake Stoneburner and Jack Mewhort will each be removed from athletic scholarship beginning with the summer term, and they will continue to be suspended from team activities until stipulations are successfully met. They will have an opportunity to return to the team in good standing following the summer session."
